Planning & Administration
To implement effective policies and organizational structures that support a culture of sustainability, attention is needed in the areas of coordination and planning, belonging and affordability, investment and finance, and well-being.
Goal 4 of the Sustainability Plan supports the identification and activation of organizational systems, resources, partnerships, and processes that support weaving sustainability into the fabric of the University.
To do so, sustainability must be integrated into the disciplines, departments, and activities beyond which it is traditionally found. Fulfillment of this goal will expand understanding of sustainability so that it includes more than the environment and increase resources so that individuals and offices can more easily contribute to the University’s sustainability goals.
