After graduating from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor’s in Studio Art and Environmental Thought & Practice and a minor in Urban & Environmental Planning, Haley lived in the Basque Country of Spain where she worked as an English teacher and graphic designer. Following her time abroad, she held positions with environmental and humanitarian-focused nonprofits in Colorado and Virginia. Through her education and time in these roles, she was inspired by communities and became passionate about the role of creativity in problem-solving.
Since starting her role at University of Richmond, Haley has enjoyed collaborating with student interns, learning more about the plants on campus, and hammocking in the Eco-Corridor.
