Click Here to Access the Forum

As many of you know, after four years of exceptional service, Megan Litke left the University of Richmond in July to join the staff of the Office of Sustainability at American University. We have spent this fall seeking input from campus community members to help inform the search for Megan’s replacement. We hope this online forum will allow all community members an opportunity to provide meaningful feedback about the search. The forum will be open from 12:00 AM on Wednesday, October 15 to 11:59 PM on Tuesday, October 21. All responses will be compiled and summarized as an important reference for search committee members.

Climate Action Plan

President Edward Ayers signed the American College and University Presidents Climate Commitment (ACUPCC) in 2007, committing to measuring the University’s carbon footprint, developing a collaborative plan to reach climate neutrality, and integrating sustainability into the learning experience. The Climate Action Plan sets 2050 as the target date for neutrality, with an interim target of a 30 percent reduction by 2020.
